科名：鹿蹄草科(Pyrolaceae)水晶蘭屬(Cheilotheca)
別名：大果假水晶蘭，大果擬水晶蘭、台灣擬水晶蘭、擬水晶蘭、假水晶蘭、
原產地：台灣及中國大陸之浙江、西川、貴州、雲南、西藏及緬甸北部。
分佈：台灣分布於海拔 1,000~3,000 公尺左右之成熟森林內，常見於冷涼潮濕的原始針闊葉混合林落葉堆積深厚之處所；大霸尖山、雪山、阿里山、合歡山、杉林溪及能高山均能見到。

用途：
1.觀賞：水晶蘭全株潔白透明樣如水晶，是大自然的奇景。
2.藥用：全草：甘、微鹹。效用：全草：補肺止咳。治虛咳。全草含水晶蘭苷(monotropein)、β-穀固醇、對香豆酸、熊果酸、葡萄糖、蔗糖、棉子糖。
